The VDU042LP is a very robust, thin and super flexible UHD video cable. It was specially designed and developed by KLOTZ for the transmission of 12G signals without interference, in order to meet the increased requirements of the SMPTE ST 2082 standard. The special construction - with the small outer diameter of only 2.9 mm - stranded inner conductor from silver-plated, copper cladded steel wires, physically foamed PE dielectric, very tight tinned copper braid shielding with a 95% coverage, robust PUR jacket - is consistently designed for flexibility and robustness not only for mobile outdoor use. Even for temperatures between -40°C and +70°C, because the outer jacket is temperature-resistant, in addition abrasion-resistant, notch-resistant and has a high tear propagation strength. This results in a wide range of applications for shorter transmission distances of up to 20 m for 12G video signals, depending on the end device used and the signal level considerably more, not only in the broadcast segment, e.g. on camera sets, but also in industry and many other applications.
